PAB fire standards in France are very strict for obvious reasons. Indeed, Public Access Buildings are subject to safety standards to prevent fires. In particular, they must ensure that they use non-combustible furniture and equipment. This is why PAB suppliers and PAB must ensure that the materials meet the M1 fire protection standards. It is possible to purchase materials or furniture that are already M1 certified. But in other cases, the fire-resistant material must be treated. To do this, we suggest fireproofing the material by spraying fire retardant. Let’s look at some examples where standard M1 fireproofing of the material is necessary :
Theater sets and curtains must be M1 fireproof. It is possible to buy a curtain that is already fireproof or to then fireproof it with our product Eurotextil. Stage decorations are also affected by the M1 standard. You can make a wooden set and need to fireproof it to put it on stage while respecting fire regulations. In this case, we advise you to use Eurobois.
Installing an artificial green wall, a Christmas tree, or an artificial flower decor is not trivial in an ERP. The decor will be checked by the control office of the store in which it will be displayed. Landscaper, decorator, you must provide your client with the fireproofing certificate for all elements. For a Christmas tree or a wooden decor, fireproof the elements with Eurobois; for a decor with flowers or artificial plants, use Euroflor. If fabric is part of the scenography, it can be treated with Eurotextil.
Are you exhibiting at a fair or event show? Your stand must be fire-resistant to standard M1. Whether it is the carpet or the furniture, you must prove that the stand elements are fireproof with a certificate.
