Intumescent varnish

The VI BOIS system protects solid wood and wood-based panels indoors while leaving the material visible: classified B-s1,d0 under LNE test report no. P243012 – DEC/6, issued by LNE, a laboratory accredited for reaction-to-fire testing.

Equivalence with the French M classification falls under annex 4 of the order of 21 November 2002 and is assessed with your inspection body. No durability is documented for this system: we publish nothing on that point.

Two references: the intumescent primer, which carries the classification, and the topcoat, which protects the active layer without contributing to the classification.
