Fire-retardant treatment straw
Straw is a highly flammable natural material. It does not fall within the scope of our official test reports (softwoods, textile fibers): therefore, we do not claim an M1 fire rating for straw. Does your project involve this material? Contact us: we can assess the feasibility of a treatment and, if necessary, arrange a dedicated test. For public access buildings (ERP), compliance is assessed in conjunction with your building control office or safety commission.
Fire-retardant treatment cork (Granules and Sheets)
Cork is not among the materials covered by our test reports: we do not claim an M1 classification for it. Depending on its form (panels, granules) and intended use, please contact us to explore a solution; compliance for public access buildings (ERP) is the responsibility of your inspection body or the safety commission.
Fire-retardant treatment artificial plants
Artificial plants installed indoors, particularly in public access buildings (hotels, performance venues, restaurants, etc.), must often meet fire reaction requirements. Using our application method of spraying or dipping until saturated and allowing the excess to drain, we apply our Euroflor artificial plant fire retardant, specifically designed for artificial flowers and plants. It treats the synthetic fibers (polyester, polypropylene) that make up these plants and grants them the M1 fire reaction classification (LNE test report No. P258195-DEC/2 of 07/27/2026). The treatment is colorless, preserves the original appearance of the plants, and improves their reaction to fire, making it highly suitable for decor in hotels, performance venues, and other public access buildings.
