Flame retardant treatment is the legal method for classifying textiles as M1 (fire resistance). Our Eurotextil fabric flame retardant is a versatile solution for both natural and synthetic fibers. The 5L container is designed for large-scale projects (theaters, convention centers, large hotels), offering the best price per liter and maximum yield. It allows you to treat the largest possible number of square meters of fabric, minimizing purchase costs and on-site refills.

The 5L container contains 1000 treatment points. It is intended for professionals using precise measuring equipment to guarantee the correct M1 dosage. Based on the “points” rule (which varies according to the fabric weight), this container allows you to treat:

• Up to 50 m² of very lightweight fabrics (20 points/m²).
• Up to 13 m² of very heavyweight fabrics (75 points/m²).

Precise dosage control during transfer is essential for successful certification. To optimize the use of your fabric flame retardant, we recommend consulting the fabric weight chart.

The 5L container is suitable for high-volume applications:

• Professional pump sprayer: Ideal for quickly covering large curtains or carpets.
• Soaking: For small batches of loose fabric (a very effective method for saturating the fibers).

To facilitate work on specific items, an empty sprayer is provided free of charge for transferring the product. This size is designed for use with tools that guarantee uniform fabric saturation, essential for achieving M1 fire rating.

Proof of conformity is centralized. You will receive a blank M1 Certificate and the conformity stickers corresponding to the 5-liter quantity. After applying the fabric flame retardant according to the dosage instructions, you complete the certificate, affix the stickers, and return it to us by email for certification. This procedure allows you to provide the authorities with an official document proving that the entire required quantity of M1 product was used on the declared amount of fabric.

Yes, Eurotextil is M1 certified for cotton, linen, polyester, and polypropylene. Protection is unlimited indoors, as long as the fabric remains unwashed. Regarding application, the product should never be diluted with water (including for cleaning) and must be stored above 15°C. It is crucial to perform a preliminary test on the fabric to ensure that there is no visible aesthetic alteration after saturation.

• Storage temperature: minimum 15°C. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50°C/122°F.
• Shake well before each use.
• Protect from freezing.
• Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames, and other ignition sources.
• Do not pierce or burn, even after use.
• Use only in a well-ventilated area.
• Protect from sunlight.
• Do not use for any purpose other than that for which the product is intended.
• Shelf life: 24 months in its original, unopened, airtight container.
