What total surface area can I fireproof with this pack of 12 x 0.5L sprayers?

This professional kit is ideal for covering medium to large areas. Since a 0.5L sprayer treats 3m² of wood to the M1 standard, the 12-pack of Eurobois provides total coverage of 36m² of wood (12 sprayers x 3m²). This ensures compliance for your projects (decorations, interior woodwork, structures) with a single order, simplifying on-site stock management. For perfect application and to cover all surfaces of your wood, please refer to the recommendations on our dedicated page for our entire range of wood fire retardants.

What is the economic advantage of buying the Eurobois 12-pack of sprayers compared to buying them individually?

This kit is specifically designed for professionals managing large projects or those with recurring needs (architectural firms, construction companies). By choosing this kit, you benefit from a significant discount per sprayer, often equivalent to a wholesale price or the first tier of discounts. This allows you to optimize the overall budget for your M1 compliance project without compromising the quality of the French-made wood fire retardant. To learn more about the importance of choosing a certified M1 product, see our article: Understanding the M1 fire safety standard for public buildings.

How to use a fire retardant product for wood?
  1. Calculate the number of sprayers you will need: one fire retardant sprayer covers exactly 3m² of wood.
  2. Ensure that the wood to be treated against fire is completely raw, unvarnished, unpainted, untreated, and free of artificial snow (can be applied to stained wood).
  3. Prepare the surface thoroughly; it must be dry, free of dust, oil, grease, dirt, resin, etc.
  4. Spray the fire retardant directly and evenly onto all surfaces of the wood or object to be treated.
  5. Treat all surfaces except those that are inaccessible and/or not visible (panels attached to walls, the inside of objects, etc.).
  6. Strictly adhere to the quantity of product relative to the surface area.
  7. Allow it to dry for 12 to 72 hours, depending on the temperature and humidity, either naturally or with an accelerated drying process. Slight shrinkage of the wood fibers may occur.

Is this pack of 12 more suitable than a 5L container for my construction site?

The choice between the pack of 12 sprayers (6 liters total) and the 5L container depends on the desired application method and the site logistics. The pack of 12 is ideal if:

  • You prefer spray application on diffuse or overhead areas.
  • Several operators need to work simultaneously on different areas.
  • You want a ready-to-use application without transferring.

The 5L container is more economical for application with a professional spray gun or for fireproofing by immersion. If you need to treat materials other than wood, such as textiles, explore our range of textile fire retardants.

How are M1 certification and labels handled for a Batch of 12 order?

Whether you purchase one or twelve sprayers, the certification process remains the same. You will receive a single official M1 Fire Treatment Certificate in your package, along with the number of stickers corresponding to the total area treated (36 m² for this batch). Simply complete this certificate, affix the stickers, and return it to us certified to obtain your final report, essential for the safety commission. This streamlined process simplifies the administration of your fireproofing project for your wood surfaces.

Is the delivery of 12 units optimized for professional logistics?

Absolutely. By ordering this 12-pack, preparation and shipping are optimized for professionals. The entire package is designed to guarantee safe arrival at your worksite, often within a short timeframe (24 business hours). The standardized packaging simplifies inventory, on-site transport, and distribution to the wood fire retardant application teams, ensuring you have the exact quantity needed to achieve the 36m² M1 compliance requirement. Consult our guide to properly prepare your wood surface before fireproofing and maximize product effectiveness.
