Fire retardant treatment makes a material difficult to ignite, preventing it from rapidly spreading fire. Artificial plants and flowers are generally made of highly combustible plastics or synthetic fabrics. Their presence in public buildings (ERP) or hotels and restaurants (CHR) requires compliance with the M1 fire safety standard. Our artificial plant fire retardant is a specific, colorless, and non-toxic solution that creates a protective barrier on the fibers. A sprayer is the ideal tool for artificial plants. The application must ensure saturation of all exposed surfaces to meet the M1 standard. You must spray the artificial plant fire retardant evenly until the leaves and branches are slightly damp. Careful application is essential to ensure that even hidden areas receive the treatment, which is crucial for obtaining the certificate of conformity.

The certification process is centralized for this batch of 12: you will receive a single M1 Certificate in your package, along with the compliance stickers for the entire quantity. These stickers serve as proof of the application of the required M1 dosage on 48 m² of surface area. After treatment, you complete the certificate, affix the stickers, and return it to us for final certification. The validity of the treatment, and therefore M1 compliance, is guaranteed once the artificial plant flame retardant has been applied to all surfaces of the plants.

Our artificial plant fire retardant formula is non-toxic and colorless. Once dry, please note that it may give the leaves a slight sheen and a slightly sticky feel. To ensure the aesthetic appeal of your decoration, test the product on an inconspicuous area first. During treatment, use in a well-ventilated area, and keep the product away from any heat source. This M1-rated treatment is strictly for indoor decorative use.
