What does fire-retardant treatment of artificial plants consist of and what is the purpose of this sample?

Artificial plants are made of synthetic materials (polyester, polyamide, etc.) derived from petroleum, making them highly flammable. Flame retardant treatment involves applying a chemical barrier that prevents the plastic from melting and the spread of flames, ensuring M1 fire resistance. The Euroflor sample is designed to perform a chemical tolerance test: it ensures that the product does not damage colors, dissolve the adhesives of delicate flowers, or leave an unsightly whitish residue before treating all your decorations using our Artificial Plant Flame Retardant category.

Can I establish a small decoration with this 100ml bottle?

No, the sample does not qualify for the M1 fire-retardant classification test report. It is strictly reserved for technical testing. M1 validation requires complete saturation, which cannot be guaranteed administratively with a simple sample. For your compliance needs, consider the Euroflor sprayer or the 5L container.

How to perform the test on a synthetic plant?

Spray or brush a sheet of paper placed behind your composition. After it has completely dried, check for any chemical reaction (discoloration) and the visual appearance (excessive brightness or residue).
