Cardboard flame retardant – Eurocarton

Eurocarton is a liquid, odorless, non-toxic, and colorless cardboard fire retardant, specially formulated to delay the combustion of cardboard and prevent its spread. This product is essential for professionals using cardboard in public spaces (ERP), such as theaters, exhibition halls, art galleries, and event venues. All combustible materials exposed to the public must comply with current regulations. Our product is tested and certified M1 (NF P92-512 standard) by the French National Metrology and Testing Laboratory (LNE). This classification guarantees the highest level of fire resistance. To ensure compliance, we systematically include the M1 Fire Treatment Certificate in your package. The certification report pertains to the cardboard material, with a specific density, guaranteeing the effectiveness of this cardboard fire retardant on most common surfaces.

Eurocarton is ready to use in a 0.5L spray bottle. To guarantee M1 fire resistance:

1. Preparation: The surface must be clean, dry, and free of dust and grease. This product should only be used on cardboard.
2. Application: Spray the cardboard fire retardant directly and evenly onto all surfaces. Treat all sides thoroughly (except those that are inaccessible or hidden).
3. M1 Dosage: One 0.5L spray bottle is sufficient to treat approximately 2m² of cardboard. Strictly adhere to this quantity based on the surface area.
4. Drying: Allow to dry for 12 to 72 hours. Slight shrinkage of the fibers may occur.

Certification is a simple yet crucial process. You will receive a blank M1 certificate in your package, along with repositionable stickers located directly on the sprayer. These stickers certify that you have applied the cardboard fire retardant according to the M1 dosage. Simply fill out the certificate, affix the sticker(s), and email it to us (info@alfaflor.com). We will return it to you certified, ready to be presented, upon request, to the safety commission. Please note: the certificates and stickers are uniquely numbered; be vigilant as we cannot replace them if lost.

Eurocarton is a non-toxic product that requires no special equipment for use. However, it is recommended to: Keep it away from heat and open flames. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Protect it from sunlight. As for its effectiveness, the fireproofing is considered unlimited as long as the surface remains indoors in a dry environment.
