What is a fire retardant for wood ?<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

This liquid flame retardant delays wood burning<\/a> and prevents a fire from starting. The product comes in a liquid, odorless, non-toxic, and colorless form in sprays or cans.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Typical application :<\/strong> Our fire retardant products are widely used in environments where wood<\/strong> is omnipresent, such as theaters<\/strong>, concert halls<\/strong>, museums<\/strong>, and cultural centers<\/strong>. How to use a fire retardant for wood ?<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

  1. Calculate the number of sprayers you will need: one fireproof sprayer covers precisely 3m\u00b2<\/sup> of wood.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
  2. Ensure the wood to be treated is raw, unvarnished, unpainted, untreated, and without artificial snow<\/strong> (can be applied on stained wood).<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
  3. Prepare the surface: Make sure it is dry, free of dust, oil, grease, dirt, or resin.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
  4. Spray<\/strong> the flame retardant product directly and evenly on all surfaces of wood or the object to be treated.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
  5. Treat all sides <\/strong>well except those which are not accessible and\/or visible (e.g., a panel fixed against a wall, the interior of an object, etc.).<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
  6. Strictly respect the quantity of product in relation to the developed surface.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
  7. Leave to dry between 12 hours and 72 hours<\/strong>, depending on the temperature and humidity, either naturally or accelerated. Slight shrinkage of the fiber may occur.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

    M1 fire treatment certificate<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

    This flame retardant product has been tested and certified M1 by the National Metrology and Testing Laboratory<\/strong> (Test report no. 208356 \u2013 DEC\/8).<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

    You will receive an M1 fireproofing treatment certificate with your purchase. Stickers included with the sprayers must be attached to the certificate to indicate the proper application of the recommended quantities.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

    • Thanks to its ease of use, this product can be applied both by you and your customers.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
    • You should only use this product on raw wood or unpainted, unvarnished, and untreated objects (possible on stained wood).<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
    • The wood can be new or old, as long as it has been sanded raw.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
    • Non-toxic product that does not require any special equipment for use.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
    • Keep out of reach of children.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
    • Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames, and any other sources of ignition. Do not smoke.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
    • Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
    • Do not spray on an open flame or any other source of ignition.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
    • Do not puncture or burn, even after use.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
    • Protect from solar radiation. Do not expose to temperatures above 50\u00b0C\/122\u00b0F.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
    • Do not use for any purpose other than its intended application.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

      Suitable for softwood. The wood must be raw (not painted or treated, even in an autoclave). The wood must be cut and remain indoors.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
