We were contacted by Bacha Coffee<\/a>, a luxurious Moroccan caf\u00e9 located on the Champs-\u00c9lys\u00e9es in Paris, with a specific need : to make their wallpaper<\/strong> fire-resistant<\/strong> in line with the French M1<\/strong> fire safety standard. This regulation is crucial for public spaces like caf\u00e9s and restaurants to ensure safety in case of fire. <\/p>\n\n

Fire testing before on-site work <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

Before starting any treatment, we followed our standard process to test the material and confirm the effectiveness of our fireproofing solution :<\/p>\n\n

  1. \u202fSending Eurocarton product samples :<\/strong> We first sent samples of our Eurocarton liquid fire retardant<\/a> to the client. This allowed their team to test the product on their wallpaper and check how well it worked and adhered. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Approval from the fire safety commission :<\/strong> The test results were positive, and the fire safety commission officially approved<\/strong> the solution. This step was essential to ensure regulatory compliance. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Extra check with the client\u2019s wallpaper sample : <\/strong>To double-check, we asked for a sample of the actual wallpaper<\/strong> and tested it in our lab<\/strong>. This extra step helped confirm that our product was fully suitable before treating the entire surface. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

    On-site application<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

    Once the tests and validations were completed, we organized an on-site intervention in Paris <\/strong>to treat all of the wallpaper by spraying<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

    A dedicated team for the job<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Two of our technicians went to the Champs-\u00c9lys\u00e9es to carry out the treatment across a large wallpapered area<\/strong>. The work was planned to be completed in one full day<\/strong> to minimize disruption to the business. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
