Fireproofing ensures preventive protection to mitigate damage caused by fire. <\/p>\n\n\n\n All furniture and materials\u2014such as wood, plastics, fabrics, etc.\u2014are vulnerable to fire and can cause significant damage. Even non-combustible materials can lose their mechanical strength when exposed to fire. Depending on the material, quantity, and density of the furniture to be fireproofed, the correct volume of product must be applied. <\/p>\n\n\n\n To verify that materials have been properly fireproofed, establishments must present a certificate to the Safety Commission.
